Stacking tank

Stacking tanks describe tanks which can be stacked on top of each other. Despite their cylindrical shape, stacking them is possible thanks to stainless steel feet. They’re used to store substances for short or long periods of time.

Stacking tanks are used in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries to store substances. It’s also possible to implement them in a production process. The stacking tank has two important features that distinguish it from other tanks. Thanks to their metal feet, they can be stacked as much as is required. Furthermore, it’s possible to stack different sizes on top of each other. If several tanks containing heavy substances are stacked, it’s a good idea to have the heaviest tank on the ground to serve as the base. Thanks to their stacking possibilities, stacking tanks can be very easily integrated into production processes and connected with each other.

Purging stacking tanks

Stacking tanks can be purged depending on how they’re integrated into a process and their contents. Liquids can generally be flushed out with water. Dry substances will form depending on temperature, moisture build-up and residue, so these stacking tanks generally have to be purged.
